Program Goal of Certificate in Enrolled Agent Exam Preparation prepare students with the tax law knowledge, analytical skills, and practical competencies required to successfully pass the IRS Special Enrollment Examination (SEE) and become licensed Enrolled Agents authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS
Course 1: Federal Taxation of Individuals (SEE Part 1)
This course provides an in-depth study of federal income tax law as it applies to individuals. Students learn to prepare individual tax returns, apply current tax codes, and interpret IRS guidelines.
Course 2: Federal Taxation of Businesses (SEE Part 2 – Business)
This course covers federal taxation principles for various business entities and self-employed individuals. Emphasizes interpretation of business income, deductions, and entity-specific rules.
Course 3: Representation, Practice, and Procedures (SEE Part 3)
This course focuses on IRS representation, practice before the IRS, and ethical responsibilities under Treasury Department Circular 230.
Course 4: Enrolled Agent Exam Review and Professional Practice
This course is a comprehensive capstone review and applied practice course. Students integrate knowledge from all parts of the SEE and apply it to simulated exam questions and professional tax scenarios.
